SNOWMASS SIZLIN HOT

Combining extreme fineness with density and having it maintain fineness through the stud's age is an asset very hard to come by. 5Peruvian Red Hot, sire to Snowmass 'Sizlin Hot', has this trait as one of the finest and most consistent colour studs Snowmass has ever produced. Snowmass bred him to one of their Royal fine Dam's, Snowmass Golden Serenity, whose line is well proven in fineness and density.

'Sizlin Hot' - what presence!!                     Standing at Willowbrook following his                                                                        long journey from the states

Adding elite white of renowned Allianza lines in Peruvian Hemingway, and the finest of the Conchatanca lines, the outcome was 'Sizlin Hot'. The moment this cria was born his entire blanket of fleece was rippling with extreme fineness and density. 'Sizlin Hot's' offspring have this same amazing fineness and density that is unique and rare in the alpaca, and mostly only found in the vicuna, yet it is here in 'Sizlin Hot', along with many other evolved qualities.

Snowmass Sizlin Hot's picture speaks for itself, but together with his phenotypical qualities he has years of selective genetic breeding to support his highly advanced conformation and fleece characteristics. His progeny have far exceeded all our expectations, and with superior genetics obtained from three decades of selective breeding, he remains the number one choice to advance our own coloured breeding programme.

Don and Julie Skinner, owners of Snowmass Alpacas, cited the following:

'FINENESS is key to the commerciality of alpacas and alpacas ability to compete on the Fine Fibre markets. Sizlin Hot is one of the key elements to do this. He has proven in his production that he out produces himself in density and FINENESS. He has one of the best packages as he carries this fineness and density into his extremities; and he has the LOOKS. We are already missing the ability to continue breeding with him, however know he will bring excellence that the discerning breeders of the UK are looking for and Snowmass Alpacas is proud to be part of this with our genetics'.

WILLOWBROOK INFERNO

An exciting new addition to our breeding programme for 2018. Willowbrook Alpacas Inferno is a truly exceptional solid dark fawn macho. He is true to type, and stands on a very correct frame, with a deep broad chest and strong bone structure.

conformation, and beautiful head              dense and incredibly bright!

Inferno really is an outstanding male. His fleece is not only incredibly dense, but it is also fine, and exhibits uniformity in both colour and character. It is well organised, and aligned into very bright, tightly crimped staples. The icing on the cake is that Inferno has the most delightful nature. He is full of personality, and his lovely temperament makes him an absolute charm!

Inferno is well developed, and began successfully working immediately, with a confirmed pregnancy following his first attempt! With strong colour and multi champions on his dam's line, and a Supreme Champion as his sire, we cannot wait to see what this gorgeous male will produce!

Inferno was placed 1st Intermediate Fawn Male and Champion Fawn Male at the West Midlands Show in 2017 competing against some of the country's best alpacas (beating several males already holding Champion Status), as well as 1st Intermediate Fawn Male and Reserve Champion Fawn Male at the North Somerset Show in 2018.

Inferno is expecting his first cria this year, and we are waiting with great excitement and anticipation!
